International Doctors Day

Today marks International Doctors Day. A day that comes this year while physicians across the globe are putting their efforts and lives on the lines to defeat this pandemic coronavirus (COVID19). The whole world salute, appreciate and stand in solidarity with you.

CCSD extends its warmest greetings to Physicians across the world on this occasion. CCSD also extends its condolences to the families, friends and colleagues of doctors & health workers who lost their lives by a coronavirus (COVID19) while in duty.

CCSD extends its deepest condolences to the family and friends of the two Sudanese doctors:

- Dr. Adel Al-Tayyar - Organ Transplant Specialist

- Dr. Amjad Al-Hourani - ENT Specialist

The above doctors lost their lives after contracting coronavirus (COVID19) while in duty in the UK.

On this occasion, we extend our gratitude to Sudanese physicians and health workers who perform their duties with the utmost dedication under these harsh conditions, difficult circumstances and an inherited collapsed health system from the old regime. Our confidence is unwavered in our doctors and health workers who led the pursuit of freedom, peace, and justice in December revolution.

CCSD extends its deepest condolences to the families of the deceased due to coronavirus (COVID19) in Sudan and around the world. And to the families of doctors who passed away while in duty serving humanity.
