Update on the Martyrs of the January 2nd, 2022
Hosam Eldeen Ahmed Kheir Elseed, 24 years old male has died in the early hours of January 2nd, 2022 from a sustained injury as a result of live ammunition fired by the security forces during his participation in the January 2nd anti-coup peaceful protests in Omdurman.
Also the two, previously unidentified civilians who were killed by security forces while participating in the January 2nd anti-coup protests have now been identified as follows:
- Salah Mohamed Bab-Allah, 19 years old male. He was killed by a direct gunshot bullet to the chest.
- Sari Mamoun, male of (unknown age), who was killed by a live bullet to the head that fractured his skull and blew his brain.
The death toll among civilians rises to 57 since the military coup on October 25th, 2021
