Central Committee of Sudan Doctors (CCSD).

December 22nd,2021.

On the 19th December 2021 anti-coup protests, the security forces used excessive force against the peaceful protesters. Two demonstrators were killed as a result of being shot by live ammunition directed towards head and chest.

Mohamed Magzoob Mohamed Ahmed, 28 years old, was shot by bullet directed to chest while he was at Sharg Elneel's March; he died on the same day (19 December).

22 years old Abdelmonim Mohamed Ali, suffered from sustained injury by a bullet shot to the head during the 19th of December protests at Omdurman. He died on December the 21st.

The death toll among civilians has risen to 47 since the military coup on 25th. October 2021.

CCSD follows a rigorous process to ensure the accuracy of each reported case before finally getting the information released. Violations by security forces to human rights, health facilities, medical personnel, and health care delivery system, often cause some delays in announcing the reports,
