Mohamed Sheikh Idris, 53 years old died on December 3rd, 2021 from a head injury sustained by security forces while participating in anti-coup peaceful protests on November 17th, 2021. He was severely beaten with a riffles’ butt which led to a skull fracture and brain hemorrhage.
The death toll among civilians has risen to 44 since the military coup on October 25th, 2021.
