Field Report on November 25th, 2021 Civilians’ injury cases during anti-coup Protests

 

More than 60 injury cases among civilians have been reported, including an injury case due to the use of live ammunition by security forces, one (1) civilian lost an eye from an aimed tear gas canister, and one (1) case is in critical condition.

 

63 civilians wounded as below:

- An injury case due to the use of live ammunition.

- An injury case due to the use of rubber bullets.

- An injury case due to the use of stun grenade.

- (19) head injury cases due to tear gas canisters aimed at civilians.

- A head injury case due to batons beating which is in an unstable condition.

- (3) eye injury cases due to tear gas canisters, including a case that lost an eye.

- An eye injury case due to thrown stones.

- (9) cases of suffocation from tear gas.

- (27) cases with superficial injuries which have been treated.

 

Khartoum State:

 

Omdurman City’s Processions

- A total of (43) injury cases were reported.

- (15) head injury cases due to tear gas canisters aimed at civilians.

- (4) eye injury cases due to tear gas canisters.

- (2) cases of suffocation from tear gas.

- A head injury case due to batons beating is in an unstable condition.

- (21) body injury cases due to batons beating and tear gas canisters aimed at civilians.

 

Bahri City’s Processions

- A total of (5) injury cases were reported.

- An injury case at the lower back due to the use of live ammunition. it’s in stable condition. 

- (4) cases of suffocation from tear gas.

 

Khartoum City’s Processions

- A total of one (1) injury case reported

- A head injury case due to a tear gas canister aimed at civilians.

 

A total of 14 injury cases were reported in the regions.

 

Kassala City

- A total of (4) injury cases reported

- A leg injury due to the use of rubber bullets.

- An injury case due to stun grenade.

- A chest injury with a reinforcing steel bar.

 

El Obeid City

- A total of 10 injury cases reported

- Two (2) head injury cases due to tear gas canisters aimed at civilians.

- Three (3) cases of suffocation from tear gas.

- Five (5) cases with superficial injuries. 

 

CCSD keeps the details of the abovementioned private to protect their rights and for their security.

CCSD will release field reports once confirmed data is obtained from Khartoum and other states across the country which exposes the brutality of security forces against peaceful civilians. CCSD follows a rigorous procedure to confirm the accuracy of each case before it gets published.
